What will you be doing?
- Set up and stock the bar daily, including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce.
- Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
- Greet guests, take drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
- Understand drink menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and service.
- Efficiently use POS and manage bar inventory.
- Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and process guest checks.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards and maintain glassware.
What we are looking for:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 to serve alcohol.
- Minimum one year of bartending experience in fine dining; extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer required.
- Flexible schedule required, including availability on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
- Ability to obtain necessary licenses; bartending certificate required.
- Must lift trays up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and understanding portion sizes.
- Proficient in English for guest communication and order taking; basic writing skills for requisitions and balance sheets.
- Part-time positions available.
