Responsibilities

• Greet all customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile
• Grow personal sales by hitting minimum goals and providing an above and beyond customer experience
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and clearly explain all benefits
• Engage in conversation with customers and assist them in making buying decisions
• Demonstrate a passion for products in our store
• Attend all Scheels product training and store meetings
• Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
• Aid in all other assigned duties

Requirements

• Ability to perform basic math, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and draw/interpret bar graphs
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization
• Show strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Be willing to help with freight/stocking when needed
• Be able to demonstrate product usage within the shop and retrieve product from heights greater than 6 feet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 months of sales experience

Pay

$18+/Hour as a combination of hourly pay and commissions/incentives.

Schedule

Schedule consists of a combination of day and evening shifts with a weekend requirement of two full weekends per month.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
