Outdoor Entertainment Event Attendant (SEASONAL)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Take tickets and interact with guests entering and exiting shows
• Answer guests’ questions related to the event, the property and/or its amenities
• Monitor guests to ensure event rules/regulations are followed
• Be familiar with Venue Emergency Evacuation Procedure, and be able to assist and direct guests as needed
• Notify guests of policies; and alert security as needed
• Greet guests and provide usher services within venue sections to ensure guests are seated in the correct location represented on their ticket

Knowledge And Certification, Skills And Abilities

• Knowledge and Certification Required: 1 year hospitality or guest service experience
• Skills Required: Accurate and detail-oriented, Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Abilities Required: Ability to work fast and efficiently, Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene, Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner, Ability to serve both internal and external customers, Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice, Ability to enthusiastically and professionally up-sell property amenities

RESTRICTIONS

• Must be 18 years of age or older to work events with adult content

Required Training

• Treasure Island guest service training
• Any position-related training as determined by department manager
• TIPS training and certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to walk and / or stand for periods of up to 8 hours
• Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
• Must be able to reach and twist routinely
• Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
• Must have the ability to independently lift up to 15 pounds routinely
• Must be able to stack removable chairs
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
• Must have good eye hand coordination

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed primarily in concert venues (outdoors)
• Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
• Occasionally overtime may be required
• Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
• High volume direct public contact
