Recreation Attendant (Part Time/Seasonal)

About the role

The Recreation Attendant will be responsible for attending to our Pool and Recreation facilities. Daily tasks can consist of folding and replenishing pool towels, setting up lounge chairs and umbrellas, refilling sunblock, towel, and water stations, assisting guests with requests, cleaning and picking up around the pool areas, and additional requests that may be asked of you by management. To assist with fun activities at our Beach Rambler area by the beach. This person must have good communication skills and can work in a fast-paced environment. Must be fine with working outdoors all day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in beach rambler operation as needed; ring items up, re-stock items, inventory
• Assist in soiled linen drop and clean linen pickup
• Assist in beach butler operation as needed; set up chairs, umbrellas, beach cabanas and chairs for guest as requested
• Assist in children’s beach activities and pools as needed
• Fold and replenish pool towels
• Set up lounge chairs and umbrellas
• Refill sunblock, towel, and water stations
• Assist guests with requests
• Clean and pick up around the pool areas

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to reach, bend, twist body on a constant basis
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working outdoors all day

Pay

$19.00 per hour
