Recreation Attendant (Part-Time)

About the role
The Recreation Attendant is responsible for greeting guests in the pool area, ensuring that the entire area is clean and properly set up prior to the opening of the pool. This person will work outdoors, assist guests with towels, sell pool retail, and answer guest questions. The ideal candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoys working outside. The Recreation Attendant will also be responsible for leading guest-related activities and programming as directed.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in the pool area
- Ensure the pool area is clean and properly set up prior to opening
- Assist guests with towels and pool retail sales
- Answer guest questions
- Lead guest-related activities and programming as directed
Qualifications
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience preferred
- Hotel experience a plus
Pay
The hourly rate for the position is $18.00.
