About the role

As the Outbound Transport Logistics Specialist, this operational role within the Parts & Service Logistics function will serve as the primary liaison between Dealer Parts Support, carriers, distribution centers, and stakeholders. The role ensures timely and effective resolution of dealer inquiries while proactively monitoring and supporting On-Time Delivery performance, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining documentation, and supporting outbound logistics processes in alignment with business goals and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Dealer Parts Support regarding transportation and logistics-related inquiries.
  • Investigate, resolve, and communicate shipment status, delivery exceptions, freight claims, and transportation issues affecting dealers.
  • Monitor and support On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance through shipment tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate with carriers, distribution centers, and internal teams to resolve transportation disruptions and expedite critical shipments when necessary.
  • Analyze transportation performance metrics and identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide timely updates and communication to dealers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment delays or service interruptions.
  • Support transportation reporting, carrier performance reviews, and logistics service initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve the dealer delivery experience and drive operational excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or distribution operations or High School Diploma/Equivalent with 6 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or distribution operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to effectively interact with dealers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships.

Pay

The annual salary for this role is $63,750 - $97,750 plus any applicable bonus. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
