OTR TIRE TECHNICIAN - Experienced
About the role
Boulevard Tire Center is seeking an experienced OTR Tire Technician for their Garden City, GA location. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as an OTR Technician with skills in tire change and repair for commercial truck service.
Responsibilities
- Provide after-hours/on-call service to customers that may include fleet service
- Perform tire change and repair for commercial truck service
- Remove, install, and repair tires up to size 00R49
- Operate and maintain a stick boom truck and associated equipment
- Work a flexible schedule that includes after hours and weekend calls
Requirements
- Current driver’s license compliant with insurance and safety policies
- Mature, responsible, and reliable
- Strong safety record and commitment to safety
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers, management, and co-workers
- Ability to obtain and maintain MSHA training and TWIC security badges
- CDL Class B required
Qualifications
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent off-the-road, farm, and industrial tire removal, installation, and repair skills. They must also be physically capable of performing these duties.
