OTR TECHNICIAN

About the role

OTR Technician with previous tire experience (5 or more years) – Able to change all type of tires as well as solid industrial press. Operate a boom truck with or without a tire hand. This position has dual roles, can work on an OTR boom truck as well as fleet truck.

Responsibilities

• Change all types of tires, including solid industrial press
• Operate a boom truck with or without a tire hand
• Work on OTR boom truck and fleet truck
• Operate fleet service truck, small mini boom, and OTR boom truck
• Remove and replace tires and wheels from vehicles off‑site
• Service all sizes and types of tires, including large OTR and press‑on solids
• Perform written fleet service reporting and corrections
• Raise on‑road and off‑road vehicles using air hydraulic jacks

Requirements

• Class B CDL
• Maintain regular attendance
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check
• Pass MVR check (maximum six points allowed)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tire experience
• TIA trained for passenger and light truck, medium commercial, industrial, and OTR

Skills

• Tire changing and solid industrial press operation
• Boom truck operation (with or without tire hand)
• Fleet service truck, small mini boom, and OTR boom truck operation
• Off‑site tire and wheel removal/replacement
• Servicing large OTR and press‑on solids tires
• Written fleet service reporting and corrections
• Using air hydraulic jacks to raise vehicles
