About the role
OTR Tire Technicians work offsite in a company-provided service truck to service customers with all OTR tire and wheel-related needs, including replacing, inspecting, repairing, and properly mounting/dismounting all OTR (construction, earthmoving, mining, agriculture, etc.) tire and wheel-related products.
Responsibilities
- Safely service customer equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Operate hydraulic jacks, power hoists, and lug wrenches to service OTR tires
- Mount and dismount various OTR tires according to industry best practices
- Travel up to 75% within the region to meet customer and company needs
- Adhere to TIA standards, policies, and safety practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Valid Class C driver’s license, insurable to meet company standards
- Current DOT Medical Certification
- Commercial and OTR TIA Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- MSHA Certification (preferred)
