Otolaryngology Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the Role

This position is for a Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Otolaryngology within a hospital-based clinic setting. The role offers flexible days with a focus on clinical and operating room (OR) duties, supporting integrated ENT services using the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide day shift coverage in clinic and OR settings, managing 20-30 patients daily across all ages.
• Perform inpatient rounding and scheduled OR duties.
• Complete all clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
• No call coverage is required.

Key Duties

• Manage outpatient ENT cases.
• Conduct inpatient rounding.
• Assist in OR procedures.
• Ensure comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant certification preferred.
• Prescriptive authority not required.
• Ability to handle a busy caseload.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a hospital environment.
