Associate Veterinarian
About the role
VCA Front Range Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. We are a AAHA-accredited hospital with a focus on providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs, including wellness and emergency services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to patients
- Perform surgeries and other advanced procedures
- Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Continuously improve clinical skills through continuing education
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure to practice in Colorado or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Colorado, or the ability to obtain licensure
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer software and electronic medical records systems

Pay
Compensation negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Annual salary starting at $115,000 - $140,000. Salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week.
Schedule
Full-time schedule with hours Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am - 3:00pm. Rotates Saturdays every 4 weeks.
