About the role
You’ll get to know the family and care for the pet year after year. From delivering reliable care, to preventative visits, to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong. The Ideal Candidate would be willing and able to uphold high standards of medical excellence and foster collaboration within our team environment. Mentorship is available with interest in growing surgical skills.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

About The Hospital
East San Rafael Veterinary Clinic is a small animal practice located in North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Full-srvice medical facility with state-of-the-art equipment which includes modern ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscopy, and dentistry, and experienced staff who have been caring for pets in Marin County for over 40 years. Our hospital has a collaborative team, focused on patient care, and friendly atmosphere. Our community is very dog friendly, our clients are committed to overall care of their family dog and cat. We pride ourselves on proactive approaches as a team, compassion, and high standards of medical excellence.
Mentoring
We have a developed mentorship program and schedule tailored for your success. In addition to our organization-wide mentorship program. We are open Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday, 7:30 am – 3:00 pm

Compensation
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $150/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
