Job Summary
As our Otolaryngologist, you will be a pivotal player in diagnosing and treating a comprehensive spectrum of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck region. This involves both medical and surgical interventions, ranging from common ailments like ear infections and sinusitis to complex challenges such as neck cancers, hearing loss, and reconstructive surgery. You will lead patient care through precise diagnostics, advanced treatment planning, and dedicated post-operative management, ensuring optimal patient outcomes within your specialty.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive examinations and meticulously diagnose conditions.
- Develop tailored treatment plans for your patients.
- Collaborate extensively with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language pathologists, audiologists, and other medical providers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide essential patient education, empowering individuals with a clear understanding of their conditions and treatment pathways.
- Diligently monitor patient progress throughout the recovery period.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or board eligible from the American Board of Otolaryngology.
- Oregon medical license and DEA certificate.
- Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
