Otolaryngologist

About the role

AMN Healthcare is representing a physician‑led, not‑for‑profit health system in New York’s Southern Tier that seeks a board‑eligible/board‑certified otolaryngologist to join a collegial team. The position starts ASAP and offers a 4‑5 day work week. You will build a comprehensive ENT practice with 2–3 clinic days and 1–2 full operating room block days weekly, supported by audiology, advanced practice providers, RN/LPN, MOAs, and a dedicated OR scheduler. Call is 1:5 on a week‑on rotation and is separately compensated, with access to a Level II Trauma environment and optional academic involvement with SUNY Upstate. Epic EMR and Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) are used system‑wide for documentation efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an ENT practice with 2–3 clinic days per week.
• Perform surgeries during 1–2 full operating room block days each week.
• Participate in shared ENT call on a 1:5 week‑on rotation, separately compensated.
• Provide care in a Level II Trauma setting.
• Engage in optional teaching/rotation of SUNY Upstate residents and medical students.
• Utilize Epic EMR and Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) for documentation.
• Collaborate with audiology, APPs, nursing staff, and a dedicated OR scheduler.

Requirements

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in otolaryngology.
• Eligible for J‑1 or H‑1 visa status.
• Possess or be able to obtain a New York medical license.

Qualifications

• Experience building a busy ENT practice.
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma environments.
• Interest in optional academic involvement.
