About the role
The University of Nebraska at Omaha seeks an Other Hourly Worker - Biomechanics to join the Biomechanics department. This position involves extracting key insights and quantitative metrics from histological and medical images, analyzing and interpreting biomechanical data from experimental studies, assisting in the development and testing of benchtop systems for medical device evaluation, and supporting data processing, documentation, and reporting.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Graduate degree in Biomechanics or Biomedical Engineering
- Experience working with medical and histological images
- Experience analyzing biomechanical data
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Biomechanics or related field
- Strong coding skills in C, C#, or Python
- Background in statistics and data analysis
Physical Demands
Regularly sits; may stand, walk. See, hear, speak and use of hands. Works indoors. Noise level is low to moderate.
Salary
$15.00/hour
