About the role
The Research Assistant - Biomechanics position involves extracting key insights and quantitative metrics from histological and medical images, testing biological tissues mechanically, and analyzing and interpreting biomechanical data from experimental studies. Support will also be provided in data processing, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements
- Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, or other related fields
- Experience working with medical images
- Experience analyzing biomechanical data
- A strong anatomy and physiology background
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience analyzing medical images and writing scripts for automatic analysis
Physical Demands
Regularly sits; may stand, walk. See, hear, speak and use of hands.
Work Environment
Regularly works indoors. Noise level is low to moderate.
Salary
$15.00/hour
