OT Clinical Leader - Outpatient

About the role

The Outpatient Therapy OT Clinical Leader provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services including patient examination (ages 13+), development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with team members, and clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. In addition to clinical responsibilities, serves as a mentor, program leader heavily involved in program development, and knowledge translator. This position will provide coverage at our Bon Air and Short Pump (Main Campus) Centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient examination and develop/administrate treatment plans for patients aged 13+
• Document and communicate with team members
• Provide clinical direction and supervision to licensed/non-licensed personnel
• Instruct therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient/caregivers
• Serve as a mentor and program leader in program development
• Act as a knowledge translator

Requirements

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience with a specialty population of interest
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required
• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program and/or a specialty practice certification preferred
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Occupational Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required
• Board certified clinical specialist strongly preferred

Pay

$35.88 - $53.04 per hour. This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
