About the Role

As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Clinical Supervisor will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of clients. This person will provide clinical supervision to other staff seeking clinical endorsement, which will include both clinical consultation and administrative tasks. They will also fulfill Counselor duties and provide direct care to Northpoint clients, actively communicating with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to clients and their family members.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling, assessments, and group facilitation to individuals and families
Ensure all persons providing counseling services are functioning within their competent parameters and maintaining education to do so
Audit charts for policy and procedure compliance, appropriate documentation, and completion of all internal paperwork and documents
Assist and resource clinical team with needs for ongoing CEU requirements
Create and deliver clinical competency trainings as needed
Monitor and supervise incoming interns from various universities
Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care
Collaborate with assigned clients in the development of written treatment plans, including client and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education, and discharge planning
Monitor clients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions
Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner
Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships
Oversee and participate in quality assurance and compliance activities
Provide clinical updates to utilization review and managed care representatives
Coordinate with community-based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes
Facilitate individual and group therapy
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and maintain confidentiality
Perform other clinically appropriate services and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences, or other relevant field
Active ID mental health licensure with ability to provide clinical supervision
3+ years of experience in relevant field
Ability to work with a diverse population and strong interpersonal skills
Understanding and adherence to ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board
