Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions
- Create an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters student comprehension and retention
- Participate in curriculum design and assessment, ensuring content remains relevant and up to date
- Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and professional development
- Administer assessments and evaluations to gauge student understanding and progress
- Engage in scholarly activities to contribute to the academic community and maintain currency in the field, as applicable
- Participate in faculty meetings and organizational committees, contributing to the continuous improvement of osteopathic education
Supervisory Responsibilities
NoneRequirements
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a COCA-accredited medical school, with an active medical license for the state of Idaho
- (Transitioning DOs to the state of Idaho must have an active license within 3 months of hire)
- Board certification or board eligible by the appropriate AOA specialty board, as required
- Experience teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) / Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (NMM)
- Experience with curricular and instructional design and training or experience in educational theory and/or evaluation preferred
- Experience with curricular and instructional design and instructional technologies is desirable

- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across disciplines with administrators, faculty and students
