OSP Project Manager
Posting Locations: Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; Charlotte, NC; or St. Louis, MO
About the role
Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting, and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and projects
- Support development of proposals – including project scope, schedule, and budget
- Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects
- Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications
- Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff
- Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, etc.
- Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience
- Experience in all aspects of Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects – including field data gathering, design, and permitting
- Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently whether in the office or field/remotely
Nice to Haves
- Supervisory experience in OSP engineering design or construction
- Experience in surveying or utility locating
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree a plus
- Degree in Engineering or related field a plus
