OS&D Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage OS&D clerks and oversee department processes
• Assist in research and follow-up when business levels require it
• Clearly communicate processes and performance expectations
• Compile and deliver performance reviews and corrective action
• Monitor daily and weekly employee productivity
• Handle escalated issues as necessary
• Work with terminal leadership to resolve OS&D-related matters
• Conduct daily/weekly conference calls to facilitate team communication and issue resolution
• Provide feedback to leadership on OS&D trends and issues
• Deliver weekly reports to leadership on department workload and performance
• Compile exception reporting data and maintain records for progress monitoring
• Respond to root cause investigations and reports
• Work directly with the Claims Department regarding freight ready for salvage

Requirements

• Ability to interface and communicate with all Pyle personnel and customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional phone etiquette, including relaying sensitive information about freight condition and location
• Scheduling flexibility to meet business needs and workload demands
• Strong computer skills
• Attention to detail, follow-through, and organization
• Leadership experience preferred
• Dock operations experience preferred
• Travel required
