R&D Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and coordinate schedules for hourly staff
- Conform with Solstice and government HS&E standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Work with procurement group to maintain supplies
- Interact with union leadership to facilitate a good working relationship between union and management
- Identify cost reduction, 5S standard compliance and productivity improvement
- Oversee payroll, overtime, and scheduling
- Responsible for purchasing and maintaining inventory
- Lead improvement teams
- Oversee cost improvement and productivity analysis
- Manage building operations
- Assist with life critical/safety permit and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work afternoon shift and on-call as needed
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial related field
- Supervisory experience in a union environment
- Experience of leading technical teams
- Experience in chemical manufacturing
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others
- Familiarity with SAP and ADP software systems

Pay & Benefits
- The annual base salary for this position is $110,423-$138,029.
