Orthotist Prosthetist, Certified

About the role

This position involves managing comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under a physician's prescription. Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing and implementing treatment plans, and follow-up to ensure optimal outcomes. The role aims to restore physiological function and improve cosmesis through custom orthoses and prostheses.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and conditions for orthotic and prosthetic devices
• Formulate and execute treatment plans tailored to individual patients
• Follow up on patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Manage practice operations related to orthotic/prosthetic services

Qualifications

• Certified as an Orthotic/Prosthetic Practitioner through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)
• Completed necessary education and training to attain certification
• Valid Class D driver's license with a good driving record
