Brief Description Job Title: Certified Orthotist/ Prosthetist Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics; Master's degree preferred.Licensed by the Arkansas Board for Orthotics and Prosthetics.ABCOP or BOC Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics required.3 year of related experience requiredStrong understanding of healthcare systems, insurance, and community resources. The Certified Orthotist / Prosthetist will work directly with Physicians, therapists, and all health and allied health professionals to design, measure, fit and provide follow up care for patients referred for care. He or she must be self-directed, able to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and have excellent interpersonal / customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Comply with all applicable policies and procedures.Verifies client eligibility for equipment/service.Processes correct paperwork upon delivery or service call.Performs over the counter sales functions; handles cash transactions efficiently and accurately when needed.Maintains all information for prior authorizations and recertifications; provides paperwork to associate that is performing those functions.Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.Exhibits flexibility in job duties and maintaining customer service.Other duties as assigned.
