Orthopedics Physician Assistant
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the Department of Orthopedics.
About the role
Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and 13 Advanced Practice Clinicians. Responsibilities will include clinic, hospital floor, and OR coverage. After a training period, the primary location will be Cooperstown, NY. Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. New graduates are welcome with a defined ramp-up and training program.
Additional compensation of $20,000 is available by joining a twice-per-month call group.

Requirements
- National certification as a Physician Assistant
- New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification
- DEA certification

Pay
Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000. This range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of posting and is based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation.
Sign-on bonus: up to $50,000.
