Job Summary

Piedmont Orthopedics is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a growing, hospital-employed program at the heart of one of the fastest-growing counties in the country. You'll operate within a healthcare system that includes two hospital EDs and a freestanding Level II Trauma Center — the only trauma center in York County — with a Level III designation upgrade already in motion for 2026. This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful in a high-acuity environment, backed by state-of-the-art surgical infrastructure and a team that's invested in your success.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, hospital-employed Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon position
• Primary surgical focus on inpatient trauma with some outpatient care
• Call coverage for York County's only trauma center (Level II, upgrading to Level III in 2026)
• Healthcare system spans two hospital EDs and a freestanding trauma center
• Strong, collaborative ED relationships already in place
• State-of-the-art equipment including new surgical robots and large, well-equipped ORs
• Fellowship training in trauma surgery required
• Experienced Orthopedic Surgeon preferred
