Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About the Role

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) to provide inpatient care in a hospital setting, focusing on orthopedic trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage orthopedic trauma surgeries, fracture reductions, washouts, trauma consults, and post-operative visits
• Provide emergency department (ED) support and rounding
• Assist in the operating room
• Provide hospital coverage with an average of 20 patients per day
• Perform hospital-based duties without clinic work

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Physician Assistant license
• DEA registration and CDS license
• Certification in ACLS or ATLS (at least one required)
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically eClinicalWorks

Schedule

Weekday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
