About the role

The Piedmont Athens satellite location in Monroe, GA is seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon to service the community.

Responsibilities

• Anchor of the satellite working with a PA
• Other subspecialty orthopedic surgeons rotate through the satellite
• Pursue an interest in the community surrounding Piedmont Walton Hospital
• Develop the orthopedic program partnering with current Orthopedic surgeons in Athens
• Current practice includes: General orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Joint/Adult Reconstruction, Trauma orthopedic surgery, Hand/Wrist surgery, Foot/Ankle surgery

Requirements

• Board certified orthopedic surgeon
• Experience in general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint reconstruction, trauma, hand/wrist, and foot/ankle surgery

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program
• Passing scores on all required exams
