Orthopedic Surgeon Richmond VA

About the role

Join an integrated musculoskeletal practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries. Additional specialties include neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy. In-house services include physical therapy and chiropractic, (including aquatic therapy with land-based strengthening, work conditioning and work hardening, vestibular and cognitive therapy, and Functional Capacity Evaluations), electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management and x-rays. Offices are located in Richmond and Alexandria, with potential to cover both locations.

Job Duties

• Quality Patient care and management
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Treat a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s goals

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon)
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

Schedule

Monday through Friday work schedule

$450k-$520k
