About the role
University Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic surgery program in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Responsibilities
This is a full-time position focused on clinical excellence with involvement in resident/fellow and medical student education if desired. It is a perfect blend of academic and private practice settings.
- Hip and knee reconstruction with some general ortho (if desired)
- Monday – Friday work schedule
- Mixture of clinic and surgical days
- Participate in a shared call schedule with experienced colleagues (no trauma call)
- Provide high-quality orthopedic surgical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
- Access to cutting-edge surgical suites and diagnostic technology
- Opportunity to engage in teaching and mentoring
- Involvement in system-wide initiatives to improve orthopedic and musculoskeletal outcomes
