About the Role
Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.
Practice Highlights
- A weekly mix of clinic, OR, and call
- Call shared within the group
- Full compliment of surgical partners, advanced practice clinicians, and other orthopedic clinic specialists
- Full scope practice with an emphasis in joints (knees and hips)
Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of joint surgeries, including total joint replacements, arthroscopies, and reconstructive surgeries, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and diagnostic imaging, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for joint-related conditions.
- Monitor and manage postoperative recovery, providing follow-up care and rehabilitation plans to facilitate a successful recovery and restore joint function.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and enhance recovery processes.
Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Board eligible or certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- State of New Mexico Medical License
