About the role
The Cooper Bone & Joint Institute is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join the expanding Cooper Bone & Joint Institute at Cape Regional. This is an exceptional opportunity to establish and grow a regional orthopaedic trauma practice while working within one of the region's leading academic health systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthopaedic trauma and fracture care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform operative management of acute fractures and complex musculoskeletal injuries.
- Participate in orthopaedic trauma call coverage.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
- Support growth and development of orthopaedic trauma services throughout the Cape Regional market.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
- Maintain a patient-centered approach focused on exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency
- Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery preferred
Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
- License/ Certification Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey
