Orthopedic Medical Assistant - Full Time

About the role

Support clinical operations and patient care as a Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by recording vital signs, medical and social history, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers during examinations.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, vaccine administration, and diagnostic tests (e.g., EKG, pulmonary function).
• Screen and direct patient calls, communicate test results and prescriptions under supervision.
• Conduct regulatory testing and maintain clinical supplies.
• Perform front desk duties including patient registration, billing, and scheduling.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification/registration.
• BLS certification.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform diagnostic and clerical tasks within scope of certification.
• Attention to detail and patient-focused approach.
