Orthopaedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities

Lead daily operations for a 22-member Orthopaedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team, overseeing workflow, clinical care, and quality improvements across multiple sites.

• Split responsibilities equally between administrative tasks—such as onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and staff coverage optimization—and clinical duties within outpatient settings, with no operating room responsibilities.
• Collaborate with senior management and physicians to develop best-practice models, manage change, and enhance patient care.
• Supervise, mentor, and support APP team members, ensuring efficient clinic workflows, scheduling, and staff deployment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong leadership, operational management, and clinical skills in orthopaedic care.
• Experience with human resources, labor contracts, and change management.
• Ability to foster team development and improve workflows across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential.
