Orthodontic Treatment / Financial Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on the benefits of orthodontic treatment and choices.
• Make payment arrangements through various financing options and explain insurance coverage and benefits.
• Set up patient contracts when treatment is accepted.
• Congduct patient consultations alongside the orthodontist.
• Follow-up with patients through telephone calls and letters.
• Calculate fees for treatment based on various insurance fee schedules.

• Able to answer questions regarding orthodontic treatment
• Confident in sales and collecting payments for services rendered
• Able to present treatment plans and financial arrangements
• Case presentation / on-going case management
• Understand orthodontic procedures and scheduling
