About the Role
Rock Dental Brands, a leader in the DSO industry, is seeking a highly motivated, confident, and experienced managerial leader to join as an Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager. You will lead a team of Practice Managers through daily operations, ensuring KPIs are met and overseeing the overall performance and operational aspects of assigned clinics. Your first priority is to ensure Practice Managers provide the best quality care for patients.
Responsibilities
- Operational Duties
- Consistently and effectively communicate company objectives to all practice team leaders via email, video conference calls, phone, and in-person visits.
- Manage practice teams to maintain operational and human resource standards and enforce established processes.
- Supervise Team Leaders and monitor KPIs to ensure accountability and performance expectations.
- Enforce processes for practices to meet KPIs set in conjunction with the VP of Clinical Operations.
- Manage clinics to operate within budget as defined by communicated KPIs.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure practice managers, doctors, and teams greet, engage, and manage patient flow to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Set and manage measurable results related to customer service, and conduct regular conversations with teams regarding service standards.
- Training & Development
- Conduct consistent training in each practice on human resources, compliance, and technical topics.
- Perform regular inspections of practices.
- Hire, train, and develop staff at assigned clinics.
- Essential Job Functions
- Frequent travel to maintain relationships with practice locations (60% - 70% of the time).
- Use of Google Workspace and other tools required by your direct manager.
- Dress code: scrubs or business casual when visiting practice locations; business casual for meetings representing the practices or business.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of business management experience.
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills with both staff and doctors.
- Attention to detail and ability to apply analytics to process improvement and strategic thinking.
