Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager - Rock Dental Brands

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated, confident, and experienced managerial leader to join Rock Dental Brands as an Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of Practice Managers through daily operations, ensuring KPIs are met and overseeing the overall performance and operational aspects of assigned clinics. Your first priority will be ensuring Practice Managers provide the best quality care for our patients. You will travel to each clinic to hire, train, and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Operational Duties
  • Consistently and effectively communicate company objectives to all practice team leaders through organized and scheduled email, video conference calls, phone, and email communications.
  • Manage practice teams to maintain acceptable operational and human resource standards and processes.
  • Supervise team leaders and monitor KPIs.
  • Enforce accountability expectations for practices based on KPIs.
  • Ensure KPIs set in conjunction with the VP of Clinical Operations are maintained by all practice units.
  • Manage clinics to operate within a budget set forth in communicated KPIs.
• Customer Experience
  • Ensure all practice managers, doctors, and teams greet, engage, and manage patient flow to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Set and manage measurable results related to customer service, and hold regular conversations with teams regarding customer service.
• Training & Development
  • Conduct consistent training in each practice on human resources, compliance, and technical topics.
  • Perform regular inspections.
• Essential Job Functions
  • Frequent travel to maintain appropriate relationships with clinics.
  • Use of Google Workspace and other tools required by your direct manager.
  • Dress code requires a minimum of scrubs (or business casual) when visiting practice locations, and business casual for meetings when representing the practices or overall business.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of business management experience.
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills with both staff and doctors.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to apply analytics results to process improvement and strategic thinking.
• Able to travel 60%–70% of the time if needed.
