Ortho Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

Performs radiological diagnostic procedures. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Secondary duties include ordering supplies, stocking, and conducting quality control on the equipment. Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Maintains patient comfort and adheres to proper safety procedures. Contributes to the teamwork, philosophy of the department/office.

Qualifications

• Two years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology, basic x-ray experience and trauma work is required.
• ARRT and license in accordance to state regulations.
• Associates Degree
