At H2O Orlando we’re looking for a pioneer—an adventurer ready to help build something from the ground up on one of the largest college campuses in the nation: University of Central Florida, with over 70,000 students and a massive population of unchurched and spiritually curious young adults.

About the role

Our church exists to make disciples of Jesus by reaching the unchurched, de-churched, and spiritually curious in a way that is both deeply authentic and culturally engaging. We believe the college campus is one of the most strategic mission fields in the world. Whether you’re exploring ministry through an internship, developing as a leader through a residency, or stepping into full-time campus staff, you’ll be joining a team with over 150 years of combined ministry experience, a strong culture of development, and a story already in motion—including a $2M building gifted to us just 20 minutes from campus.

About Reliant

Reliant is a faith-based nonprofit that partners with missional churches and Gospel-centered nonprofits to mobilize support-based missionaries for the Great Commission. Through Reliant, we provide missionaries with the resources, training, and support needed to thrive in their calling, including the critical process of raising financial and prayer support. Whether you're pursuing a short-term internship, a long-term residency, or a career in ministry, we are here to support and guide you every step of the way.

Assessment Process

• Application – Initial application for Reliant.
• Ministry Assessment – Assesses your readiness for your ministry role.
• Moral Conduct – Assesses your emotional and character-based readiness for a role in ministry.
• Local Interview – Interview with your church leadership.
• Reliant Review – Reliant reviews all pieces of your application and creates a summary to discuss with your local church.
• Decision/Discernment – Reliant and your church come together to make an employment decision.
• Provisionally Accepted – If accepted onto staff, you will have the opportunity to accept your offer.
• Onboarding – Includes online (and potentially in-person) training and HR paperwork to prepare you to become a Reliant employee and ready you to raise financial support.

Note: Once you begin a questionnaire within a stage, you must complete that stage fully. You cannot save progress within a stage, so please set aside ample time to complete each stage.
