About the role
We’re excited that you are considering joining us at H2O Orlando through Reliant! At H2O Orlando we’re looking for a pioneer. An adventurer. Someone ready to help build something from the ground up on one of the largest college campuses in the nation—University of Central Florida, with over 70,000 students and a massive population of unchurched and spiritually curious young adults.
Responsibilities
- Help build something from the ground up on one of the largest college campuses in the nation—University of Central Florida, with over 70,000 students and a massive population of unchurched and spiritually curious young adults.
- Reach the unchurched, de-churched, and spiritually curious in a way that is both deeply authentic and culturally engaging.
- Join a team with over 150 years of combined ministry experience, a strong culture of development, and a story already in motion—including a $2M building gifted to us just 20 minutes from campus.
- Provide missionaries with the resources, training, and support needed to thrive in their calling, including the critical process of raising financial and prayer support.
Requirements
Note: Once you begin a questionnaire within a stage, you will need to complete that stage fully. You are not able to save within a stage. Please set aside ample time to complete each stage.
Qualifications
- Explore ministry through an internship, develop as a leader through a residency, or step into full-time campus staff.
- Be part of a faith-based nonprofit that partners with missional churches and Gospel-centered nonprofits to mobilize support-based missionaries for the Great Commission.
- Be prepared to go through a series of stages including Application, Ministry Assessment, Moral Conduct, Local Interview, Reliant Review, Decision/Discernment, Provisionally Accepted, and Onboarding.
Skills
- Ability to reach the unchurched, de-churched, and spiritually curious in a way that is both deeply authentic and culturally engaging.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for ministry.
- Experience in working with college-aged populations and a commitment to spiritual growth.
