About the role
The Orion GN&C Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing guidance, navigation, and control systems for aerospace vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop GN&C algorithms for spacecraft missions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GN&C systems into vehicle architectures
- Conduct system-level simulations and tests to validate GN&C performance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with GN&C design and analysis tools
- Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and control theory
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
- Experience with GN&C test equipment and facilities
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
