Reporting to the HR Director.

About the role

Develops and sustains developmental processes and tools, supporting a highly engaged workforce and impacting overall organizational performance.

  • Partners with the Quality team to author, communicate, and train production staff on work instructions and quality processes.
  • Completes Needs Assessments for competency gaps across various staff and organizational levels.
  • Creates organizational KPIs to track overall company performance.
  • Authors and communicates customer profiles relative to product.
  • Assists the HR Director in communicating branding vehicles for company Purpose and Values.
  • Manages Safety Training content and compliance for all employees using the LMS platform.
  • Evaluates training effectiveness through processes aligned with company strategy.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Partners with the HR Manager for content creation for the Company newsletter.
  • Develops communication processes regarding overall company performance for the entire organization.
  • Develops and manages a rotating “performance coaching” role for hourly production staff and mentors them.
  • Participates in new hire onboarding for branding purposes.
  • Partners with the HR Director in creating a high-performance culture and values stream.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years in a training role in a production environment.
  • Experience formalizing training with production staff, including facilitation and content development.
  • Competence in developing training content and evaluation.
  • Understanding and demonstrated experience in effective training methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills to create KPIs and track data.
  • Working knowledge of at least one training platform, such as ADP Learning or Vector (beneficial).
  • Comfortable interacting on the production floor.
  • Tolerance of warm temperatures in the summer (facility is a heat treater for automotive).
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field of study or a trainer certification in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving.

Employee cost: $76/month.

Pay

Target compensation range starts at $74,000+.
