Overview We are seeking a full-time Organizational Development Partner 3 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional development guidance to leaders and management by conducting talent reviews, creating development plans, and evaluating progress of high-performers, high-potentials, and those placed in talent pools for key positions at Garmin. The OD position will collaborate with leaders to conduct needs assessments and execute appropriate development outcomes. This position is closely aligned with the HR team, Leadership and Professional Development team, and leaders in all business segments. Essential Functions Provide guidance and support to business leaders on organizational development strategies and initiatives including the planning and execution of organization-wide talent reviews and succession developmentCoach business leaders and associates utilizing a variety of industry benchmarked tools like 360 feedback and other assessmentsAnalyze data from talent reviews and partner with Leadership & Professional Development team members to create and evaluate programming based on needsCollaborate with HR team and HR leadership to train, implement, and measure engagement survey outcomesAct as a resource for business leaders to identify and implement appropriate intervention methods such as coaching, teambuilding, change management, assessments, etc.Support leaders and HR team in creating associate-leader mentor matches based on skills assessmentsEvaluate career paths and work with leaders to develop behavioral and technical competencies for career development, promotions, and succession developmentProvide the professional development team, HR team, and leaders action items based on talent initiativesMonitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of development initiativesResearch trends and best practices in the field and recommend as appropriate while staying current in ability to offer best support for Garmin leadersDevelop reliable solutions to a wide range of leadership challenges using sound problem-solving techniques Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Effectiveness, Psychology, or another relevant discipline AND a minimum of 5 years work experience performing a substantially similar role OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceDemonstrated understanding of HR practices and functionsProven strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDisplayed commitment and passion for developing teams and individualsDemonstrated capacity to mentor or train othersHighly detail oriented and with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively with minimal supervisionDemonstrated effective presentation skills and public speaking abilityMust possess the ability to maintain flexibility to travel (up to 10% of the time)Must possess previous experience and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding business and Human Resources mattersDemonstrated critical reasoning and consultation skillsDemonstrated ability to leverage business knowledge and HR metrics in decision making Desired Qualifications PHR or SPHR certificationCoaching certifications360 Feedback or Personality Assessment certifications Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
