About the role
Guidehouse is seeking an Organization Development Senior Consultant to support large-scale transformation initiatives, including planning and executing organizational redesigns, enabling leadership effectiveness, and strengthening team performance to achieve mission outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Guide and support organizational design and restructuring efforts, including current/future state design, governance models, and transition planning
- Develop and implement change and organization development strategies aligned with client mission, workforce requirements, and operating models
- Design and deliver leadership development programs, including competency models, coaching frameworks, and executive workshops
- Facilitate team effectiveness workshops, including strategic planning sessions, team charters, and conflict resolution engagements
- Conduct organizational assessments (e.g., culture, workforce, readiness, and capability assessments) and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including planning, task execution, quality assurance, and deliverable development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with mid-to-senior level stakeholders
- Mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and feedback
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
- Support business development through proposals and thought leadership
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5+ years of consulting or relevant experience in organizational development or transformation
- Demonstrated experience planning and supporting organizational redesigns, reorganizations, or operating model transformations
- Experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex organizational challenges into structured, actionable solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing project workstreams and junior team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level deliverables
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US citizenship required)
Qualifications
