This position supports individuals navigating employment-related disputes through mediation services in Oregon, with a primary focus on Portland and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate mediation sessions between employees and employers to resolve workplace disputes, including discrimination claims, hostile work environment issues, and other employment conflicts
• Guide parties through structured mediation processes to reach mutually acceptable agreements
• Maintain impartiality and neutrality throughout all mediation proceedings
• Document mediation outcomes and prepare settlement agreements as needed
• Provide information to employees about employment mediation procedures and preparation steps

Qualifications

• Proven experience in employment mediation or alternative dispute resolution
• Knowledge of Oregon employment laws and discrimination regulations
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain neutral and manage high-emotion situations effectively
