Order Verifier Material Handler

About the role

As an Order Verifier - Material Handler, you play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of material handling operations within our organization. Your primary responsibility is to verify the quality, quantity, and specifications of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verifying and packing out customer orders
• Counting and labeling products according to customer specifications
• Working with UPS WorldShip and FedEx computer systems
• Working with Epicor on the Customer Shipment Entry screen
• Communicating closely with the warehouse team
• Using RF scanner transactions as needed
• Ensuring work follows the documented Quality System and that products/services meet customer‑specified requirements
• Performing other reasonable work‑related tasks as required by management
• Working different shifts, hours, overtime, and weekends when needed

Requirements

• 1 year warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to use scanner devices and computer literacy required
• Detail‑oriented
• Good math skills – able to read, record, and count large quantities accurately
• Good reading and comprehension skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to interact effectively with all levels of staff
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Attentive to detail, organized, results‑oriented, with a high level of
