D shift overnight position in Edwardsville.

About the role

In this position, pallets are removed from trailers using a forklift. Job tasks include breaking down and stacking cases while receiving, verifying correct product, date, and quantity. This is a cooler/freezer warehouse with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 32°F; PPE will be provided. The role involves frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of 90 pounds or more, as well as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Remove pallets from trailers using a forklift
• Break down and stack cases during receiving
• Verify correct product, date, and quantity
• Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs, occasionally up to 110 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb as required
• Cross-train and move to other areas as needed
• Stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment (-10°F to 30°F)

Requirements

• 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years
• Cold storage experience preferred
• Willingness to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs, occasionally up to 110 lbs
• Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb
• Ability to stand for 12 hours per day in a cold environment (-10°F to 30°F)
• Willingness to cross-train and move to other areas as needed
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay

Starting pay rate: $25.45/hr with a $1.50 attendance incentive and $0.50 shift premium.

Schedule

• D shift: Wednesday 12 AM – 6 AM, Thursday – Saturday 6 PM – 6 AM
• 12 hours per day, 3½ days per week
