Order Puller I - 2nd Shift

About the Role

As an Order Puller at Mohawk Industries, you will be responsible for obtaining product that is scheduled for shipment. This role involves operating lift truck equipment, barcode scanners, and physically loading trailers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and scanning orders from inventory
• Transporting the correct stock item and appropriate number of units from inventory for shipment
• Operating electric tuggers and powered industrial trucks/equipment such as forklifts and lift trucks
• Loading and unloading elevated bins
• Manually handling stacks of cardboard or plastic
• Packing and labeling products scheduled for shipment, if required
• Attending job-related training as deemed necessary by supervision
• Following all established standard operating and safety procedures, as well as company policies
• Performing general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Completing other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Lift Truck Certification (preferred)
• Successful completion of all required on-the-job, health, and environmental safety training
• Ability to use department-specific database systems such as AS400
• Proficiency in reading and writing standard English and performing basic math calculations (addition and subtraction)
• 1 year of Lift Truck experience (preferred)

• Experience operating on-board RF equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, squat, climb, and perform other physical movements for long periods
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Working around moving equipment and in an industrial environment
• Exposure to chemicals, noise from machinery, dust, fumes, and variable temperatures
