About the role

The Order Entry Administrator processes and enters orders from email and from global customers. Responsibilities include maintaining customer files, giving price quotations, completing order sheets, checking prices and quantities, distributing order sheets to departments, and coordinating with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability, and back orders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information
  • Gives price quotations, completes order sheets and checks the price and quantity of each item listed
  • Distributes order sheets to respective departments
  • Collaborates with departments to track order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability, and handle back orders

Requirements

  • Minimum of a recognized college degree in Administration
  • Typically requires 4-6 years related experience
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Excel is a plus
  • Organized and analytical, high level of detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
