Position Overview
The Order Processing / Operations Associate role is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position requires managing and processing customer orders that may require manual review and intervention, ensuring orders are handled accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional communication across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders received through Shopify that require manual review and attention.
- Research and resolve order exceptions, including backorders, inventory availability, customer-specific requirements, and account-related issues.
- Partner closely with warehouse, sales, planning, and customer-facing teams to gather information and determine the appropriate path forward for each order.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding inventory levels, shipping timelines, customer requests, and order status updates.
- Ensure all orders are entered, updated, and processed with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Make outbound calls and communicate regularly with sales representatives, warehouse personnel, planning teams, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
- Assist with operational projects and support additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Hightly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable learning and working within multiple systems and platforms.
- Experience with Shopify, Excel, or similar business systems is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to analyze information, gather relevant details, and make sound decisions regarding order processing and customer requests.
- Team-player mentality with a willingness to support functions outside of direct responsibilities when needed.
